Another case of art therapy here, methinks. Knowing all too well that the way to Noel Redding's heart was a trim bod, I had to do something about my overweight one. A diet doctor suggested I make an incentive weight loss calendar with a target date (for instance, the next time the Jimi Hendrix Experience was playing in Chicago), checking off every day I ate sensibly.
