Another case of art therapy here, methinks. Knowing all too well that the way to Ray Davies' heart was a trim bod, I had to do something about my overweight one. A diet doctor suggested I make an incentive weight loss calendar with a target date (for instance, the next time the Kinks were playing in Chicago), checking off every day I ate sensibly. Woven into this calendar is an embellishment of the rock god's name who would love me forever after I lost 30 lbs.
