I hadn't drawn in years for various reasons, but finally I've gotten off my lazy ass and taken it back up again. A good friend suggested I draw a plaster casted dick, and I thought to myself, "the perfect still life"! Instead of apples and bananas in a ceramic bowl, Jimi Hendrix's balls and shaft — on a shag carpet. Well, actually it's fun fur. But when I think of Jimi, the first thought that comes to mind is: totally shaggable. True, the cast is kind of rough, but through a proud mama's eyes, this baby has a celestial glow — straight from "the cosmos"! Done in Bic pen — still my favorite drawing instrument.
