A familiar sight at early rock concerts were hand-made signs waving in the crowd, "I Love Only U-Ringo" or "Gordon Tech High School Welcomes the Crying Shames." Pest and I made our own signs that read "Hail Hampton Wicks," "Do You Want to Play the Game of Charva?" or just plain "Rigs." Keith Relf of the Yardbirds dedicated a song "to the girls holding up the sign, "You've Got Whoppers of Choppers."
